Should have 5yrs experience, having completed WebSphere Application
Server for z/OS implementation (ES685). Understand the basics of
object-oriented applications, EJBs, and the J2EE standard runtime
environment , Plan and configure WAS runtime environment using the
supplied Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF) panel
application , Design and implement a complete security scheme for WAS
V6 on the z/OS system, customize Java Messaging Services (JMS)
provider, Configure Web-based topologies for WAS V6 using the IBM
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) Server on z/OS together with
WebSphere plug-ins, Create Web services using top-down and bottom-up
approaches.
The WAS Administrator should have experience with the installation and
customization of z/OS and its subsystems, including Workload Manager
(WLM), TCP/IP, UNIX Services, and the Security Server (Resource Access
Control Facility (RACF)), or an equivalent product.
Good analytical skills.
Good communication skills (written & oral).
Arabic speaking will be a plus.
