Role Summary/Purpose: The Railway Constriction Manager is responsible
for all aspects of civil engineering. He should be able to plan and
design in the field of Road Construction industry.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ø Working as a part of consortium team he will be responsible for the
revision of the approved design.
Ø He has to be expert in Railway contraction Design software packages
including CAD / AutoCAD Ø He will produce the design drawings in case
realignment are considered necessary Ø Reporting to Head Sector and /
or to the concerned authorized by the consortium management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ø Tertiary qualifications with 10+ years experience, of which at least 5 years spent in the Railway Constriction .
Ø A good background in highway & railway design and proficiency in AutoCAD/ CAD is essential.
Ø Proficiency in other design packages is beneficial.
Ø Background knowledge of the design railways standards.
Ø Experienced in Preliminary and Detailed Geometric Design of Railways
Ø Experienced in Flyover and underpass design.
Ø Experienced in the Material Machinery
Ø Use of GIS software (Arc View, Arc Info, Map Info) in railway & highway designing.

We have established dedicated quality assurance system for all on going projects. Adequately equipped materials testing laboratories as per clients requirements have been provided on the site for each road & building project. Field & Laboratory tests are carried out in strict compliance to American Association Of State Highway & Transportation Officials ( AASHTO ) , The American Society Of Testing & Materials (ASTM ), The Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO ), The Asphalt Institute ,American Concrete Institute (ACI), British Standard Society (BSS ) and The Ministry Of Transports ( MOT ) Materials & Research Department Test Methods ( MRDTM ). MRDTM manuals Volume 1,2,3 are followed in which each test method for materials has been identified and described in detail. Field & Laboratory tests are carried out for earthworks, concrete, asphalt, water, steel etc for the quality assurance as per specifications requirements. The monthly materials tests reports are prepared there from for each project and submitted with the monthly bill to the clients including Ministry Of Transport ( MOT ), Ministry Of Rural Affairs ( MORA ) & Ministry Of Defence & Aviation ( MODA ). |
