Manager - Incentive Travel / Department: Travel Reports to: Operations
Manager Position Summary:
Responsible for generating and operating MICE business both from
existing and new clientele with a view to achieve overall UAE sales and
revenue MICE targets. Essential Job Functions:
1. Work alongside the Sales Team to study business from existing
customers and study the potential to tap MICE business 2. Prepare
strategic plans and execute them in order to increase MICE business
both from existing and new clientele 3. Independently prepare and
submit proposals/presentations to clients, follow up on same and secure
/ operate MICE groups. 4. Organize and handle individual MICE events
both at conception as well as during fulfillment level involving
intense traveling with the client 5. Liaise with branch heads and sales
staff to monitor leads and follow them up. 6. Ensure all financial and
accounting requirements are met consistently in line with audit
requirements 7. Monitor competitor activities and recommend/suggest
options as and when necessary 8. Ensure complaints are handled in a
professional manner and appropriate service recovery proposals are made
9. Network with group companies, airlines and other trade partners to
maximize and develop new business opportunities 10. Attend trade
related business events Essential Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
with minimum 10 years working experience in similar capacity/role
Required Skills: Negotiation and selling skills, strong PC skills and
networking ability and people management skills
