Should have over 10 years of programming experience with minimum of 3
years with EGL, should have completed EGL and Rational Business
Developer training, preferably IBM certified application developer RBD
V7.1. Should be capable of drafting detailed designs based on
functional and technical specifications, creating IBM Rational
Enterprise Generation Language (EGL) Programs, Libraries, Services, and
JSFHandlers to deliver business functionality, Programming statements
to define and declare EGL primitive data, DataItems, Records, and EGL
properties, Coding EGL Structured Query Language (SQL) and data access
statements to read and write from programs to external databases and
files, Creating EGL business logic at or near the production
requirements specification level in terms of: Complexity, Breadth and
Scope.
Should have knowledge of products such as IBM WebSphere, MQ Series as
well as the mainframe OS environment and also knowledge of software
development methodologies such as RUP or Agile or Prince2.
Good analytical skills.
Good communication skills (written & oral).
Arabic speaking will be a plus.
