| Job Detail: |
|
DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) for z/OS, with minimum 5 years
experience. Should have completed advanced DB2 Admin for z/OS,
Performance Management, DB2 Database Recovery Procedures, or equivalent
to manage multiple DB2 Databases. Carry out Review and suitable Logging
and Recovery procedures based on ITIL procedures, Ensure the production
DB2 runs at optimum performance by regularly reviewing reports from
Omegamon for DB2 and other DB2 Tools [ DB2, SQL Performance Analyzer],
Provide monthly DB2 performance reports, anticipate problem, maintain
documentation showing DB2’s relationships with other products.
Must have a proven track record of data gathering/needs analysis and
Ability to prioritize work schedule to ensure minimum or no impact on
services to users.
Good analytical skills.
Good communication skills (written & oral).
Arabic speaking will be a plus.
