To supervise the execution of refinery works (in compliance with
project specifications, times and costs) within the assigned discipline
and direct foremen for construction and assembly activities and
contractors for subcontracted works. Ensures the application of
security and quality standards and requirements.
) Ensures that the various site activities (preliminary preparation,
construction, prefabrication, assemblies, etc.) are carried out in
compliance with project specifications, security and quality standards
and within the scheduled times ; responsible for personally supervising
the execution of critical operations.
2) Compiles the operative control sheets for the assigned discipline of
competence, revises said sheets on a weekly basis and communicates any
notices once a month to the Works Accounting Assistant, Site Project
Control Co-ordinator.
3) Analyses the flow of direct incoming materials for the assigned
assembly over the short-medium term period, comparing the findings with
the scheduled program and, in the case of variation forecasts,
reschedules works in such a way as to minimise any negative impact on
times and costs.
4) Makes sure that the effective operating capacity of manpower and/or
subcontractors is commensurate with the extent of works assigned;
identifies any critical areas and implements the necessary action to
overcome said critical phases in good time.
5) Manages subcontract agreements, by methodically conserving copies of
transmittals, meeting reports, progresses reports and verbal reports
which may be required in the event of a dispute.
6) Carries out and approves sample tests on construction materials and
gathers the relative certification.
B.E / B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 8 years experience in
a refinery construction/maintenance. Good knowledge of English |
